i think i might be alive, currently on day 52ish? but trying to speed up the pace so I don't hold the line. currently a bit short on free time, sorry mates

I think '52' refers to the total days survived on the save file, making his run 12 days...?

you're somewhat correct. i am on day 52 as in the total amount of days, but my run is about 20 days because khep stopped on day 32

i actually overestimated how much time is 40 minecraft days and planned to do much more but alas

I got up and looked around, even though I could barely see past the raging blizzard. I saw a faint, circular structure erected in a short walks distance from me, and so I headed there.

Entering what turned out to be an igloo, I immediately crashed onto the bed. There were about 4 chests, filled with various resources and materials, a few furnaces full of coal, a blast furnace and a trapdoor leading to what appears to be a mineshaft.
There were no signs of the owner however.
Out of respect for the previous resident I tried not to touch much of their stuff, only what I needed. Taking a look outside, with now a clear sky and no raging snowstorm I saw a little farmland plot, occupied with some wheat and pumpkins and tall structure that appeared to be an unfinished lighthouse of sorts.

I decided to explore a cave near the igloo, and leaving it I realized that I had lost track of time and the sun has already set. The tundra was swarming with hostile monsters, and I had to act quickly for I was defenseless. I fought, barely making it alive to the shelter, and sleeping the rest of the night away. Waking up the next morning I was met with a nasty surprise when I left the igloo. A creeper had snuck up on me and detonated right at my doorstep, sending me flying away. I was on the brink of death after the sudden explosion.
After spending some time to recover, I ventured into the mines and collected some resources for my project. I wanted to construct a house to live in, and possibly serve as a shelter to anyone who may be here after I'm gone. After getting enough ore to make some basic tools, I
started the construction.
While building I realized that the terrain could use some spicing up, so I planted some evergreen saplings and placed down a bunch of torches to create a more hospitable feel, paving out some paths as well. After a few weeks of hard work, my shack was finally finished, somewhat. Sure, the occasional monster may have slowed down the process, but I kept going. After paying respects to the previous owner and moving out of the igloo, I settled in and moved my stuff to my new abode, a two story cabin!
I'll just lie down here and rest a while, these past few days have been so grueling...
To anyone whom this may concern, if you've read up to this point, there's just one thing I ask of you; after I'm gone, please, pursue my goal of making a little safe haven for anyone struggling in this world. This is but a silly yet noble cause, and if you've got it in you, which I believe you do, keep making this world better.

But I do have some questions since I'm finding conflicting info in the main post and the replies thereafter:

1) How much IRL time do I have to delivery my part? Since we are amidst the Holidays now, I might need take those 2 extra days you just mentioned
2) Is the world save being played on the nightlies or 7.3_04? I might resign my position over this because I truly don't trust that any software running on nightly updates will be reasonably stable and not suddenly corrupt my save file.
