Craft saplings into sticks. I got sick of having stacks of extra saplings and no good use for them. At least this way they can become ladders or tools.
Works for all saplings, gives two.

Edit: Forget it, there's no axes group, and since the uses_tools crafting type hates having id instead of group in the tool section, this won't work anyway.

Could I use this (with credit, of course) in my own Datapack? I'm trying to make a recipe overhaul for sticks and planks, and I want the player to obtain their first tools through saplings.
