Nether portal room ideas

Anyone have any ideas for nether portal rooms? I usually like to make small builds for the portal away from my main base. Maybe like a cathedral to give it a cultish atmosphere or a bunker to keep the dangers sealed away. What do you guys think?

Portal in a mountain side and inside the mountain recreate the other side of the portal. That’d be neat

Nether Portal in the Style of the portal games from valve.
Could be a cool idea.
Could make both entrances be an aperture test chamber.

for my world, i wanna make a big tree made out of gloomstone with leaves made out of glowstone and rubyglass (7.4 blocks), and put the portal inside, i havent started building it yet but it'd be really awesome in concept.
another idea i had back in 2022 that i do have the pic for was to have a room with an aether/drift portal and a nether portal on opposing sides, each side having its own terrain, but there is a possibility that the drift portal could be different from a nether portal so i dunno about that....
