first and foremost, DYNAMIC LIGHTS. I just want to see around whenever holding a torch or any block that emits light its both logical and convenient. If one argues that its against the essence of beta then just make it optional trough settings so players who wants to use it can do so as they please.

Next, colored beds. I find the fact that we can paint all sorts of blocks to anything except for beds pretty bewildering.

Lastly, something akin to tree harvester. Pearhaps golden axes can be given the property of chopping down entire trees in exchange of huge durablity drain? idk but i really miss this feature from my modded playtroughs.

try out the treeCapitator gamerule. while it's on, you can also still chop one block at a time if you shift mine, but it doesn't care about generated vs placed logs and will eat your house, so be careful
