BTA! Crashing on launch? try this!

BTA! 7.3 and below can run on Java 8, however, as of BTA! 8.0 you need Java 17 to be able to launch the game.
Below are the steps to switching to Java 17:
1- Download Java 17 via this website: Click!
2- Open your launcher be it MultiMC or Prism Launcher and select your BTA! instance.
3- Click the Edit button
4- Click the settings button
5- Open the Java tab
6- Click the detect button
7- Select Java 17 from the screen
And you should be good to go!
Note that you can download Java from within Prism Launcher if you click the open Java downloader button, something I don't believe exists on MultiMC.
I recommend downloading it from Adoptium since it seems the most stable.
If you are still crashing you should join the BTA! discord server and make a post in the help-and-support channel or file a support ticket on the BTA! support page
