Rubyglass Accessibility Pack [8.0+]
Posted: 06 Oct 2026, 19:59
Reduces eyestrain in crystal biomes by disabling the emissive glow of the two blocks you stare at the most when mining rubyglass - the column and the node
You can also use this pack to disable the emissive glow on crystal growths, crystalline netherrack and the rubyglass crystal (the crystal ice) by removing DISABLED_ from their folder names in this pack. I kept theirs enabled by default so they give some silhouette to the terrain. If you like, you can also disable the glow of the building blocks the same way
If you disable or enable any individual file, make sure its .mcmeta file matches, or the block's animations will get fucked
Feedback is welcome, especially on whether the default selection of disabled blocks in the pack is fine, and on whether changing that seems difficult
