not here to change your mind, but have you tried brown planks and basalt? its also really good

I always try to use bta exclusive blocks in my builds to try and make them look different from vanilla beta. If i do wood + cobblestone I'll try and use some type of painted wood.

Granite mixture plus green or red planks is legendary.

Can't beat the classics

they should add the cobblewood block so i don't need to think about choosing between wood and stone when building walls
