Re: Thoughts On Minecarts
Spot on. Minecarts helped my home server take off in all directions and a big part of why it has so many towns and places spread so far is because of railway development. We have a massive rail network that helped revitalize places and drive expansion outwards even faster. Some towns even have thei...

Re: Armor setups?
I usually lean towards a mix of fall and blast protection since I use the hand cannon quite frequently as a means of transportation, but I'm curious about what setups you guys like to use, aside from the standard matching sets of course. Re: Thoughts On Minecarts
I love them in multiplayer because they give the feeling of development and infrastructure. I don't think I'd use them in singleplayer though, just because you don't have multiple people's bases to connect. Minecarts and other forms of development/infrastructure really do help make a multiplayer wo...

Re: Thoughts On Minecarts
jumping minecarts off the edge would be so insanely awesome, im suprised it hasn't already happened in modern minecraft I'm pretty sure there's an experimental version of modern that changes the minecart physics to allow for jumps, but it's been a while (I think almost over a year now?) and they st...

Re: steel or diamonds...
I usually carry around steel tools for general use but then if I have a project where I need to dig out a big area or something I'll make diamond tools to get it done faster. I always use a steel sword tho. I think diamond technically does more damage but it really ends up being about the same since...

Re: Thoughts On Minecarts
I usually use minecarts to transport items from my mine to the surface. Being able to put chests in minecarts makes them especially useful because then I can load one chest into a minecart and hold the other chest, allowing me to take like 3x the amount of items up in one trip than if I had just fil...

Re: My stone factory
Woah this is awesome!
The way that the pistons push in new blocks and then also push the items into the water stream is really clever. I might try to build something like this in my world.
