the play area is 3 layers of 19x19 and by jumping you can reach the top layer from the bottom
the layers can be replaced using commands:
/fill 9 14 9 -9 14 -9 minecraft:block/block_snow
/fill 9 10 9 -9 10 -9 minecraft:block/block_snow
/fill 9 6 9 -9 6 -9 minecraft:block/block ...

its like a compilation pack with various tweaks

Since the score is already a thing, why not add your high score to the statistics tab?

Maybe there could even be a small indicator upon death to show you've made a new record.

Not all players want to harm cute animals.

Smelting sugar cane would turn it into leather/equivalent.
