Re: Redstone & Automation ideas
Speaking of minecarts, not necessarily related to redstone, but being able to connect them into trains. Especially if you can automatically load and unload them. Imagine a chain of 8 minecarts arriving with raw ores that automatically get collected and loaded into furnaces (basically createify redst...

Re: Redstone & Automation ideas
While my examples may not be that great, you get the idea. Instead of a weird bug being active with pistons you pick components that give you the wanted effects.

Re: Redstone & Automation ideas
Ahem: "What is quasi-connectivity?" Why exactly are u sending that link to someone who explicitly said that they know what quasi-connectivity is? Even if i didn't, there was an explanation literally a message above . You say to remove QC because it's confusing, yet think adding new featur...

Re: Redstone & Automation ideas
Buds are not replaced and QC is not confusing. Thinking QC is confusing is what makes you confused and beyond that, removing QC would break so many cool contraptions and if a mode or item that enables QC was added, all existing pistons would either have to have this added on world update, or get th...

Re: Redstone & Automation ideas
Keep quasi. But yes, need item transportation. Way I haven’t seen it done before could be a gravity based system of tubes, hoppers, and fans (one of which I see in your signature). With maybe sugarcane/wooden and iron grades of tubing Sorry but how about not keeping a confusing bug that keeps non r...

Re: Redstone & Automation ideas
When the eventual addition of better item transport ever happens (Hopefully sooner than later) I really hope they go in some sort of route that actually lets you SEE the items move around since that's really fun, it's my 1 gripe with vanilla hoppers tbh, the fact it's all in inventory. I want to se...

Re: Redstone & Automation ideas
We DESPERATELY need some way to transfer items between containers. That simple thing will start the BTA industrial revolution. :cracktivator: Other than that, i'd say replace quasi-connectivity. It's a bug. We should instead add new blocks that allowed us to do the same thing QC junk allowed. (like ...

Re: what do y'all listen to while playing
When I listen to podcasts I’m personally a fan of Caveat. Kind of american centric though. I suppose I’d most of the time rather call someone up when I’m playing a game but podcasts are definitely a good option. Oh bruh, why did i forget about it. Yeah i do usually play with friends on vc. Extra go...

Allow nether portals to be biilt horizontally
1) It's funni
2) It allows for some interesting builds, like a pool that transports u to nether or artificial sky

Re: Combat ideas
One thing I would change would be to halve the reach of the player swords. We can strike mobs from so far away that it feels as if we were holding a long 2 handed spear. Fine in single player but has potential to be an absolute nightmare in multiplayer. Ping can cause mobs to be at the edge of your...

Re: what do y'all listen to while playing
It really depends on my mood, but few days ago I've found some music made on c64 and I think it suits the game pretty nicely. "CODE ME A SONG" by Randall (Michal Hoffmann) is my favourite by far. Sounds nice, can u please send a link to your playlist or smth? Also me personally, i just li...

Re: Combat ideas
(Im talking about vanilla BTA without sprinting enabled, which alot of players have on, so keep that in mind) I do think the issue here is that the mobs themselves are too easy to fight or cheese. With skeletons probably being the most dangerous mob. Obviously tweaks can be done to the weapons them...

Combat ideas
Pre 1.9 combat sucks. It has little depth, little mechanical skill and doesn't enhance Minecrafts sandbox elements. I'd like to hear your ideas on how you might fix it. My opinion on what a good combat system for Minecraft should have: 1) Fun PvE experience. While PvP does exist, Minecraft is primar...

A couple of forum suggestions
1) Thread for forum suggestions
2) Thread for dev screenshots
3) Thread for commits
Basically migrate most of discord stuff there
4) Custom topic icons (if possible)
Similar to custom emojis, smth more fitting

Also imo skeleton's whole point is ranged attack. Zombies would be fit for pig riders tho.

Re: More hostile mobs via new variants.
Maybe instead of swimming zombies there would be skeletons spawning on boats?
