Re: The continuation challenge.
Sorry to add to the scuff factor, but I'm going to need to pull out of the challenge for now. Got caught in an IRL shitstorm and I gotta hunker down while I handle all the turds hitting my place at mach 10. If this is still going once things have calmed down then I'd be happy to rejoin.

Re: Welcome and Greetings to the BTA Forum!
I missed actual living forums so bad, also decentralizing information away back to search-indexable places is a good thing. I hope this increases adoption of the mod. For real. Being able to communicate outside of the god-awful platform that is discord and in forum-form no less is such a breath of ...

Re: do you guys like bricks
I love grinding small creatures between two bricks for dozens of minutes until they're reduced to some sort of odd stain. It's the little things in life

Re: Jack-O-Craft BTA!
+1. Oftentimes when I boot up the game I check out the multiplayer tab, where I've got the IPs of all the major servers, to check in on the state of the game and how BTA's multiplayer population is faring. Over the past six months this server has been the most reliably populous out of all of them. P...

Seems my place in the list got overlooked Khep. Should be either me or wildforester after catblock, depending on what forester meant by:

Re: Best way to get around frozen ocean?
I think glassing over the roof of the world above your waters is the best bet. If you use an activator full of glass, some reinforced pistons, and a little bit of very simple redstone you can easily automate the placement of a 25x25 sheet of blocks. The entire setup takes less than a minute to make....

Re: The continuation challenge.
I feel like I'm going to say yes, because 40 days is quite long! But it depends on how each person wants to play it and we shouldn't really press them for this stupid challenge lol. It's just fun and games. Makes sense to me :) 7 hours seems a good balance between having a meaningfully long (and ch...

Signing on to be added to the queue. Khep, it may be a good idea to update your post every now and then with the queue order. That way there's no room for misunderstanding in the event this gets big. Is sleeping on the table? If so, then each run should be around 7 hours if you sleep every night (an...

Re: Thoughts On Minecarts
If they end up reworking the minecart physics, I hope they do it in such a way that you can make 'em do jumps in stuff. It would be super cool for building roller coasters and other fun stuff. In the meantime, you can get some mileage using reinforced pistons to launch minecarts through the air. Wh...
