Re: [BTA UI] If you can change one aspect of the current BTA UI...

I would literally only add quick stack to nearby chests and nothing else I love BTA UI I know it's unrealistic, because it goes against Minecraft's design. But I would do a lot for a Terraria style stack/refill from nearby chests without having to click on each individual chest. There is a mod that...

Re: Sleep during the day

I think this would be a good feature as long as there is a cooldown of maybe halv a day? Only so player can't sleep through an entire year  I think that I think the cooldown should only kick in if you sleep like 2 days forwards at least, but i dont think that being able to do this is specifica...

Re: Make flowers require shears to drop

this would make building with them a major pain. I get the inventory clutter concern, but for something like flowers you can throw them up without much weight on your mind because of how easy they are to get. plus requiring iron for some flowers seems a little much to me, even more so since flowers ...

Re: do you guys like bricks

the block or the item? i personally think that the item is stupid. remove the brick item and clay balls and just make clay blocks drop themselves, and then smelt the clay blocks like stone into stone bricks. epic win! I think it'd be nice if you could place bricks (the item) on the ground like how ...

Re: [BTA UI] If you can change one aspect of the current BTA UI...

I would definitely add how many items does each fuel can smelt. It just makes sense to be in the guidebook (and I don't want to search the Wiki for it) what do you mean you don't have every type of fuel memorized by the amount of items you can smelt and constantly make sure you get the most bang fo...

Re: [BTA UI] If you can change one aspect of the current BTA UI...

Probably the crafting UI. I personally would really like some sorta Terraria style crafting menu where instead of having to shape out the items, I could just either chunk them into a grid and from there show a list of stuff I could craft, or just take it straight from the inventory. There's another ...

Re: what do y'all listen to while playing

Long youtube videos. Preferably in the 2 hour range, or a series of videos. I try to avoid anything I would want to actively watch though, like a lets play. I do every so often listen to music (charli xcx da goat) but I find when playing games music just kinda passes by me. It's probably because I h...

Re: opinions on bta :p

I remember when i began playing i was most impressed by the numerous QoL changes, especially native controller support. The only thing I really wish for is that more people would port over mods for this mod (or... make new ones) because that's the main thing holding back my other friends from playi...

Re: Thoughts On Minecarts

I usually use minecarts to transport items from my mine to the surface. Being able to put chests in minecarts makes them especially useful because then I can load one chest into a minecart and hold the other chest, allowing me to take like 3x the amount of items up in one trip than if I had just fi...

unironically wish we had them, a nice shiny green brick would be cool to match with gold bricks. i would also like dirt/mud bricks at some point. mud is such a weird block

Re: Longer days

i believe majonk has stated that they'd like to make day length customizable in the world creation menu. also there's the entirely real chance that you're playing mostly in winter, which is infamous both ingame and real life for having far shorter days i hope it could also be changed later on, via ...

Re: Thoughts On Minecarts

after trying to make an actual functional mine using minecarts to carry back resources by carrying chests into minecarts and having them good up to the surface into a storage area, i really hope they get "fixed" sooner rather than later. i don't need a full fledged re-implementation, but d...

Re: steel or diamonds...

diamond for pickaxe, steel for everything else. esp for swords, since steel swords entirely outclass diamond swords. for armor i dont usually use either, but steel can be pretty nice just to not worry about durability
