I always end up spending most of the day in photo mode just thinking about how I'm going to build something lol . I do wish the days where a little bit longer

It definitely would help when I'm trying to set up something for recording. Night coming so fast can be so annoying!

i believe majonk has stated that they'd like to make day length customizable in the world creation menu. also there's the entirely real chance that you're playing mostly in winter, which is infamous both ingame and real life for having far shorter days

Yeah, it's very unlikely we'd change the default length day as it's already fairly well balanced, but I don't see any harm in offering it as a world setting.

i hope it could also be changed later on, via a gamerule or something of the sorts. like say i want default length at first, but then i want to change how long it last later without using a NBT editor

i agree, especially for the exploring part. I'd love a bed that doesnt reset the spawn point at least that way i can keep moving without having the game go all dark half way through

Would really love to see this. I adore all the customization and game rules given to players and the more the better!
