For this milestone I completed the right wing of the spawn mansion, with an easter egg to reward doing the parkour.

As an early celebration of this server's coming 3rd anniversary, I recorded a world tour video.
Uploading it already to encourage people to join for and play during this milestone.
The server went live on 30 August, almost 3 years ago.

As the server has become laggy after the 8.0 update, the render distance has been decreased.
It is set to 8 chunks now, if that ends up performing well it might go up to 10.

In other news, I have been building out the interior of the "new" spawn mansion.
It's inspired by a place from my childhood ...

The server has been updated to BTA 8.0!
As promised, a partial Nether reset has been performed.
Now the new terrain starts 512 blocks away from the centre, with a hard border.
This makes the new terrain easy to reach, while the Overworld can stay persistent.

When BTA 8.0 launches, this server will update to it with a partial Nether wipe.
An area of 1024x1024 blocks (so 512 blocks out) around 0 0 will be kept, the rest of the Nether will be reset.

With the BTA 7.4 Nether update coming soon, I will remind again that I intend to reset the Nether with this update.
I will probably keep a radius of 1024 blocks (give or take a power of 2) around spawn, to preserve the infrastructure here.
But be sure to clear out materials put in tunnels further ...

This server now has a Matrix Space as an alternative chat channel to the Discord Guild.
You can join it at #bta:wyvern.red , currently the space is public.
It is NOT bridged with Discord nor the ingame chat, so you stay in control of where messages are shared.

This server is still around, it is due time for me to make another news post.
Work is ongoing to expand the rail network with a second line, with highly decorated stations.
Currently activity is low, but this server has a history of periodically bouncing back.

I am biased as I like these older PHP based site styles, but I like it a lot as-is.

The stylised buttons are an incredible touch, it's simple but makes the forum feel unique.
If it's doable the standard webform buttons could do with the same style, but I am not familiar enough with phpBB to tell ...

The server went live over 2 years ago and has been up 24/7 since.
We aim for a casual and friendly survival experience, building a lively world with many unique builds.
