how do you obtain those little fellas? ive been to all biomes and nether but couldnt find any.

first and foremost, DYNAMIC LIGHTS. I just want to see around whenever holding a torch or any block that emits light its both logical and convenient. If one argues that its against the essence of beta then just make it optional trough settings so players who wants to use it can do so as they please...
