World Seeds
World seeds! Post em! Play em!
so it's on four elephants, right? and on a turtle. yes, at the same time. yes, it's a big turtle. and it spins. no, the world spins. the sun goes around it. well it's kinda complicated due to the orbits but it's like having two years in one.

Re: World Seeds
found this woods seed with a wonderful spawn when i just wanted to check something about the world type. this long winding river shrinks a bit after that overhang in the back and just keeps going, its a canal across the entire landmass. the normal extended default version of this seed is also pretty cool, has the same fun biome spread, just doesnt pop quite so much
world type: woods
seed: 5808719040425186490

Re: World Seeds
yeah. normal BTA needs something to fill the niche of dark oak forests as these immense old woods that are hard to conquer from all the mobs and have a cool fairy forest vibe, and for ages ive wondered how you could do it in a way that it's not bloat. a possible extreme of forest generation with woods-level density (and less dense at the edges for transitions) would do perfectly fine imo

Re: World Seeds
Personally, the way I would do it (and the way I want to do it) is by modifying the existing tree density noise map so that rarely any forest can grow dense. That way we get the most amount of variation and its completely biome independent.arlwiss wrote: ↑03 Dec 2025, 12:28 yeah. normal BTA needs something to fill the niche of dark oak forests as these immense old woods that are hard to conquer from all the mobs and have a cool fairy forest vibe, and for ages ive wondered how you could do it in a way that it's not bloat. a possible extreme of forest generation with woods-level density (and less dense at the edges for transitions) would do perfectly fine imo
