Grey Cherry Tree Glitch

Hi!
I've encountered this weird glitch where all the cherry trees in my world turned grey for some reason.
This makes no sense because it's summer, not winter. And the wiki doesn't show a single season where any of the trees turn white.
I think this could be some kind of weird color mapping issue?
I would send an image, but I can't figure out how to use the insert image feature.
If anyone has an idea as to what could be causing this, please let me know!

Okay, I took a closer look at the wiki seasons image, and I was wrong
Cherry trees do turn white during winter
But
This still doesn't change the fact that when I started this world, it was spring.
And I never went through any seasons in between
Just spring, straight to winter
So I think the game's season clock decided to tick backwards for some reason
